Questions about the class
When do the classes start?
The first class is on Thursday 15 October, 6:30pm – 7:30pm, then every Thursday after that.
What age do you need to be?
The class is for adults aged 17 and over. You’ll be dancing with other grown-ups of all ages and abilities.
Do I need any dance experience?
No. The class is beginner-friendly and every routine is broken down step by step. If you have danced before, we give harder variations so you’re still challenged.
What should I wear to street dance class?
Comfortable clothes you can move in and clean trainers. Bring a bottle of water. No special dance shoes are needed.
Which style is on this week?
Styles rotate between street dance, hip hop, commercial dance and K-pop dance. Sign up for updates or follow us on social media to see the style of the week.
How much do the classes cost?
£10 for a single class, or £32 for a 4-class pass, which works out at £8 a class.
Can I come on my own?
Absolutely. Lots of people come on their own and it’s a great way to meet new people in York.
